SUCCESSFUL OUTCOMES

We are focused on achieving successful outcomes for all of our patients. After you receive a treatment, you will have another sleep screening to document changes in your sleep and make sure that you are getting better, more restorative sleep.
We will work closely with you for a 3-6 month period to ensure the comfort and effectiveness of your treatment.
Once your sleep is back in shape and is stable, we will thereafter check in with you at periodic intervals. We recommend
FOLLOW-UP CARE

Once your sleep is back in shape and is stable, we will check in with you at periodic intervals.
We recommend a "Sleep Check-Up" every 6 months to a year, including a sleep screening to monitor your sleep health.
CARE COORDINATION AND COLLABORATION

We will coordinate your care with your entire health care team. If you were referred to your office by another health care provider, we will keep him/her informed of your progress. We will also communicate with any provider that you designate.

In cases where there are a number of different issues present, we may need to refer you to another health care provider after working with you in our office. At this point, we can transition into a care-coordinator role and will continue to follow your care journey as needed. Additional follow-up sleep screenings are always available to ensure that your condition continues to improve.
NEW PATIENTS
SLEEP HISTORY
Your first visit to our office will include a thorough sleep history. We will ask questions about your health and daily routines. If you have had a sleep study or if you have been diagnosed with a sleep disorder by a physician, we will review those results. Most importantly, we will listen to your concerns to understand how we can best meet your needs.

CLINICAL ASSESSMENT

Every patient receives a baseline sleep screening. This simple, overnight test is conducted at home. It gives us an accurate picture of your current sleep patterns and measures the severity of any sleep disruptions.
Given that over 50% of all North Americans snore when they sleep, we also perform a thorough exam of the head, neck and throat.

CONSULTATION
We combine this information from you initial visit with sleep test results and other information from your physician to determine appropriate treatment options. We spend time with you discussing the pros and cons of the various treatment options and work with you to develop an appropriate treatment plan.
